We believe Washington State can make Sauvignon Blanc that competes with any in the world. Oliane is barrel fermented in French Oak (20% new) using native yeast and aged sur lie for 7 months. It is bottled unfined to allow for greatest expression and complexity.
2015 Oliane Tasting Notes—Incredible precision and balance on this wine, a mix of wet river rocks and freshly peeled pink grapefruit rind, Meyer lemon, pea vine and freshly mown straw. The palate features bright acidity that balances with the rich mid-palate to create a harmonious whole. This is a wine of power, detail, and minerality. It should improve over the next year and last 5-7 years in the cellar.
