Order Returns We will replace any bottle of wine that is corked or flawed. We ask that the customer return the unfinished portion of the original bottle for replacement. By law, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages unless the product is corked or flawed. We are also unable to accept return of wine that was damaged due to adverse weather conditions during shipment, or wine that is ordered in error. Please send an email to email@example.com to arrange for the return of corked or flawed product.
Pickup orders You may choose to have your order held for pickup at our Tasting Room in Woodinville. While appointments are not required for pickups, letting us know in advance when you plan to come by will ensure that we have your wines packed up and ready for you. Email tastings[at]avennia.com.
Wine orders on hold
Held orders are guaranteed for 90 days. After this time, we reserve the right to replace your wines with a different vintage or send your order to you via UPS ground shipping at your expense. Any wine not picked up after 180 days will be donated to a charity of our choice.
Event ticket sales All sales for events are final and are not eligible for refund or exchange. Club member complimentary or discounted tickets are non-transferable, to be used by club members only.
Shipping orders We use UPS ground as our standard shipment service, which depending on your proximity to WA State, takes between 2 and 7 days for delivery. Please contact us if you would like a quote for expedited shipping or prefer FedEx (surcharge applies to both).
We are able to ship to the following states: AL (to ABC store only), AK, AZ, AR (if ordered on site only), CA, CO, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MN, MO, MT, NE, NV, NJ, NM, NY, NC, ND, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, VT, VA, WA, DC, WI, WY.
Shipping Window and Weather Holds Extreme heat or freezing temperatures can damage wines in transit. During hot or cold seasons, shipments will be held until weather allows, which varies greatly by state. We will send email notification the week before we are able to ship and you will receive separate tracking information at that time. We usually ship out on Mondays.
Adult Signature Required Adult (21+) signature is required by law for the delivery of alcohol. Packages cannot be left without signature and pre-authorization is not possible; an adult must be present to sign for the shipment.
Business address is preferred
A business address is always preferred for deliveries. Home addresses often result in multiple delivery attempts, and delayed deliveries can risk unsafe temperature exposure while sitting for long periods in trucks and warehouses.
Shipping Modifications & Failed Deliveries Please verify your shipping addresses and preferences carefully. Once an order has been processed, we are unable to refund shipping charges and cannot be responsible for failed deliveries. All delivery re-routing will be done at the customer’s expense and all returned orders are subject to a restocking fee.
Purchase Commitment In exchange for the discounts and benefits offered through our memberships, a one-year minimum purchase commitment is required upon sign-up with automatic renewal until cancellation.
Schedule In accordance with our release schedule, membership orders are fulfilled in September, December, March, and June. Reminders will be sent via email approximately 2 weeks prior to the release date. During this time, you will have exclusive pre-sale access to the wines, with the option of adding to your order or requesting customization. Once the pre-sale window has passed and the order has been processed, a 10% restocking fee will apply to all modified orders, provided order value remains equal. Shipping charges cannot be refunded if you later choose to pickup, so please verify your shipping preferences carefully. Your credit card will be charged for the wine prior to the release date.
Membership Order Cancellations Once an order has been processed, any modifications will incur a 10% restocking fee.
Written notice of cancellation is required (email: info[at]avennia.com) and must be received a minimum of 30 days prior to the next release date to be removed. Early cancellation requests will be charged a fee equal to the sum of all purchase discounts received up to that point, or $50, whichever is greater. Note: All release dates, shipping dates, membership benefits, wine offerings, costs, and vintages are subject to change.
